Turquoise is a mineral, formed of hydrated copper aluminium phosphate, characterised by its bright blue-green colours.

Turquoise is most often opaque with a solid blue colour but can also come in 'matrix' form, where it will contain veining and inclusions of the original rock the turquoise was formed in. These spiderweb matrix gemstones may have beautiful, slightly green/turquoise hue and spider web-like markings, making each stone unique. It is currently being mined in Hubei Province, China.

Turquoise is typically stabilised to improve the stones hardness and ability to be cut without damage. These turquoise have been stabilised with a wax/plastic to improves the durability and appearance of the stone.

Turquoise has generally been known as the stone of purification and is excellent for cleansing and protecting.

This round turquoise cabochon measures 10mm.

This is a unique piece one size. This is adjustable but please message to have adjusted to fit prior to posting.
