Heritage Silver Hook Earrings

A love letter to craftsmanship and timeless beauty, these Heritage Silver Hook Earrings are thoughtfully handcrafted from recycled antique silver spoons, giving cherished heirloom materials a beautifully modern new life. Each pair is intentionally unique, with a softly asymmetrical design that celebrates individuality and effortless elegance.

Every piece begins with carefully sourced antique silver cutlery. Unused sections are melted down, forged into ingots, and hand-rolled into silver sheet, allowing me to honour every part of the original material. Using the traditional silversmithing technique of reticulation, I then create a rich organic texture that brings depth, character, and romance to the silver's surface.

Once cooled, each earring is individually hand-cut, carved, and meticulously filed before being gently formed into a soft, sculptural curve. The result is a beautifully feminine design that feels both refined and wonderfully wearable, blending heritage craftsmanship with contemporary luxury.

What is Reticulated Silver?

Reticulation is an age-old silversmithing technique renowned for its beautifully organic texture. Through a careful process of heating and cooling, fine silver is brought to the surface of the metal. Intense heat is then applied to create delicate ripples and molten-like patterns across the silver.

The result is a richly textured, sculptural finish that can never be exactly replicated. Just as no two moments are the same, no two reticulated pieces are ever alike, making each pair of earrings uniquely yours. ✨
