Keep a loved one close by capturing their paw print or puppy nose print, in fine silver, creating a piece as unique as they are. Each charm is one-of-a-kind, just like the print it holds.
This is our first kit to be released from the Brown Spotty Dog at home jewellery kit collection. The imprint pendant kit which is baby and pet safe. Designed for creating a personalised pendant to be imprinted in 999 pure silver. This handmade pendant will be an exact replica of the imprint design you return to us, finished by professional jewellers and supplied on an 16" length silver chain, your design is totally unique.
Our kit offers an expert-level, hands-on experience, providing all the tools and knowledge needed to craft a meaningful piece of jewellery at home. Capture your fingerprint or pet’s print, add your personal touch and send it back to us to transform into a cherished keepsake.
Baby safe (some babies have very faint fingerprints as they haven’t formed yet, please check fingerprint before purchasing)
Every print is different, and the final result depends on the quality of the initial print you take. We give you two sets of compound in your kits, allowing you to take two imprints. We can choose the best one to use for the final version. We use silver clay to create you jewellery and as such the shape of the pendant will move organically when fired. This is part of their character and will be visible in the images below.Â
Small Square charms measure roughly 13mm x 13mm x 1.3mm deep, and is best with one single initial or the imprint alone. This can be seen in the 'F' imprint photo.Â
Small round charms measure about 16mm round and are 1.2mm deep. These work best without a name, with a small name or a single initial letter. You can see an example of this in the 'Otis' photo.Â
Medium oval charms are around 18mm x 24mm, 1.4mm deep, and can be engraved with up to 6 letters on the front, depending on imprint size and letter width. You can see an example of this on the 'Dougal' photo.
Your necklace comes with a 16" length silver chain.
Once you order, you will receive your Imprint Kit within 2-4 working days.

The Process
Upon receiving your returned imprint, we will confirm it's suitability for transforming via email. If approved, we will check the size and begin the reverse imprinting process.Â
Using more compound we reverse your original imprint to create a mould suitable to place delicate silver clay upon. This technique allows us to transform your design from a delicate imprint into a solid precious metal piece, capturing every intricate detail.
After the clay transformation is complete, your piece undergoes a meticulous 13-stage hand-finishing process, transforming it into a polished masterpiece.
Your finished piece should be expected back to you within 4-6 weeks of you returning your imprint to us to make. We do however, make every effort to get your treasured pieces to you as soon as we can.Â

Care information
Care information
The First Rule of Silver Care is that Sterling silver tarnishes, especially when exposed to salt air and products containing sulfur, such as rubber bands and some papers. However, silver that is regularly used typically needs less care, so we strongly encourage you to wear your silver every day.
We also recommend using a small amount of town talk silver jewellery cleaner on a soft cloth, gently rub the silver several times. Then rinse the silver thoroughly in warm water and carefully dry. This will remove the tarnish and dullness, keeping your sterling silver beautiful. Please note: chlorine and bleach accelerate tarnishing and should be avoided.
