Handcrafted Sterling Silver Antique Spoon Ring
This elegant ring is meticulously crafted from a repurposed Mappin & Webb sterling silver spoon, originally hallmarked by the Sheffield Assay Office in 1929. Weighing 7.3 grams, the piece retains its original hallmark, preserving its historical authenticity. It has been legally transformed into a unique item of jewellery in accordance with the Hallmarking Act of 1973. Each ring is accompanied by an official certificate of conversion and a unique reference number, ensuring its provenance and compliance.
This piece has been delicately crafted. I have used the spoon bowl to create the main structure of the ring and used the handle to form the rotating 'Spinner' element. In this ring I have added textured for extra depth.Â
This is a unique piece is one size and therefore is no longer adjustable. Please message me should you require an alternative size created.Â
