Handcrafted Sterling Silver Antique Spoon Ring

This elegant ring is meticulously crafted from a repurposed sterling silver spoon, originally hallmarked by the Sheffield Assay Office in 1957. Weighing 10.2 grams, the piece retains its original hallmark, preserving its historical authenticity. It has been legally transformed into a unique item of jewellery in accordance with the Hallmarking Act of 1973. Each ring is accompanied by an official certificate of conversion and a unique reference number, ensuring its provenance and compliance.

This ring presents a sterling silver handmade bezel set natural Rose Quartz stone.

Rose quartz is a variety of quartz, with a subtle rose pink hue, caused by the presence of trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese in the quartz.

Generally known as the stone of unconditional love, rose quartz is excellent for its soothing and healing properties, restoring trust and opening the heart to all forms of love.

This round rose quartz cabochon measures 6mm.

Rose quartz has a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale and a specific gravity of 2.65.

Please note that due to the nature of the stone, each stone is unique so colours will vary and slight natural inclusions and zoning may be present.

Care: As with all gemstones, care must be taken. Rose quartz can be brittle so care must be taken when setting. It is not advised to place rose quartz stones in an ultrasonic, steam cleaner or chemical cleaning solution. Rose quartz can be easily cleaned with a warm soapy water mix or an untreated cloth.
