Handcrafted Sterling Silver Antique Spoon Ring

This elegant ring is meticulously crafted from a repurposed sterling silver spoon, originally hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office in 1927. Weighing 2.8 grams, the piece retains its original hallmark, preserving its historical authenticity. It has been legally transformed into a unique item of jewellery in accordance with the Hallmarking Act of 1973. Each ring is accompanied by an official certificate of conversion and a unique reference number, ensuring its provenance and compliance.

This ring includes a Round Brilliant cut diamond set in a 14ct yellow gold collet setting.

Diamond is the hardest of all minerals, solely comprised of carbon that is created when placed under intense pressure and high temperatures.

The birthstone for april, diamond has generally been known as the stone of invincibility, with 'invincible' or 'unconquerable' being the original translation that the term 'diamond' derives from.

Diamond is excellent for bringing courage, strength and faithfulness, whilst being associated with love and purity.

The quality of a diamond is assessed according to four factors, known as 'The 4 C's' - Colour, Clarity, Carat Weight and Cut.

  • The colour of this particular diamond is G and the clarity is VS2.
  • The weight of this stone is approximately 0.10 Carats or 10 points (100 points = 1 carat)
  • This diamond measures 3mm and is in a classic round brilliant cut.

Diamond has a hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and a specific gravity of 3.50 to 3.53.

The diamond is conflict free.

This is a unique piece one size. This is adjustable but please message to have adjusted to fit prior to posting.
